I own a small online childrens clothing boutique and received a large order to the UK. They paid $40 extra for express shipping. I have had issues with fraudulent credit cards before to know that large orders with express shipping are a red flag. I generally do a Google search on large orders to be safe and there was just a hint of suspicion with this order to make it worthy of doing a Google search. The results from the email address search brought up this site. It had been noted twice. That is all I needed to cancel the order.
Thanks.
I saw an ad on Craigslist for a nanny, I replied and long story short was sent a $2500.00 check that I was supposed to cash, keep $500.00 and give the rest to someone else. I began to do research on the check and the email contacting me. I found this site when I googled the last part of the email address and saw all these listings of scammers. Then I saw the same ad in another nearby state. I then concluded it was a scam.

My husband reponded to an ad on Craigslist for a 2002 Jeep Wrangler for $2900. The seller said they were in the military and was currently in the UK. They said the US military would ship the car. Fortunately we searched on Google and came up with a host of information on this site.
